                     Types of rocks .

 1 - sedimentary

 * sedimentary rocks formed from particles of sand,pebbles and other fragments of material.
example:limestone
 






2 -Igneous

 * Due to volcanoes. it called lava.
    examples : basalt and obsidian.
when lava cools quickly its formed into rocks.

 

 3 Metamorphic
   * metamorphic rocks formed under the earth surface of the earth . due to intense of heat and pressure.
 example: Marbles.
